Lohan's bright platinum locks are the result of 11 hours spent at a Beverly Hills hair salon earlier this week. She emerged from the Byron & Tracy Hair Salon at 11:30 p.m. after the grueling dye session with the blonde 'do and extra long extensions -- and a black fedora partially hiding her new look, Radar Online reports.

The noted hair chameleon has been a redhead, a brunette and a blonde in the past, but had been sporting auburn tresses close to her natural color until the new dye job.

The Ethical Fashion Show was launched in the year 2004 by Paris-based designer Isabelle Quehe, which was very well accepted by fashion designers all over the globe. The event has consequently been held every year, with enthusiastic participation from designers worldwide. Continuing this tradition, the Ethical Fashion Show has been organized this year at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, in the year 2008. It has been scheduled for the period from 9th to 12th October, 2008, of which the first two days have been reserved for trade shows and the next two have been slotted for the general public.

In the year 2007, the event was attended by over 4500 visitors in total, 48% of which were comprised of national and international buyers, 25% of media, 22% general public and 5% other categories. It is anticipated that approximately 100 fashion model designers from all over the world would attend the event this year. The best ethical designer would be awarded by a jury, consisting of professionals from the fashion industry.

Apart from ramp shows, the Ethical Fashion Show 2008 will also feature conferences and round table discussions among industry experts on the subject of ethical fashion. The exhibition this year is planned to be on the theme of 'Globe-trotting colour'. Danish fashion designer Leila Hafzi and Betty de Paris, a natural colorist, are scheduled to present their collections as a part of this event. This would be followed by a show by Takashiro Senko, indigo master from Japan, among displays by other experts.

The Brazilian brand Modafusion would be presenting a collection of colourful dresses for women produced by co-operatives from Rio. UK-based designer Ada Zanditon would present her collection of ethically produced garments, accompanied by a display of designs for working women by French designer Céline Faizant. Eliza Gabriel would be showcasing the special kind of cloth produced by her, by the name of 'Petals', which are available in the shape of flowers. This cloth can be used to make various kinds of items, such as purses, hats and belts. She would also be presenting her 'Noir Tropical' collection, which is based on the romantic costumes of Spanish heroines.

Jewellery designer Estrella Bijoux would be presenting her collection of fashion jewellery made from recycled material. This would be accompanied by Marcello Toshi presenting his collection of fashionable shoes.

If you like swimwear, could there have be a better place to be? Whether you like fashion shows or not, or whether you just appreciate looking for a sexy bikini, the 19th annual Ujena Bikini Jam in Cancun had all the sexy swimwear, bikinis, models and fun that anyone could take in. Bikini modeling and photography is a passion of mine, and this event brought them together with awesome fashion and people from all over the world. Models and photographers alike got discovered, the new line of Swimwear was introduced, and the beaches were packed. It was truly a party.

Bravo Adds Two Fashion Shows to Catwalk

The network has given a series pickup to "The Fashion Show," which like "Runway" is described as a fashion model design creative competition series. One difference between "Runway" and "Show" is that the winner of the new series -- who will have their designs sold by an unspecified retailer -- will be chosen by viewers; a panel of judges selects the winner on "Runway." Casting is underway.

Bravo insists that "Fashion Show" is a new project. Still in development is the similarly themed "Fashion House," a competition series based on a British TV format that was announced in July.

The network also is developing "Celebrity Sew-Off," in which celebrities compete in a design competition to determine who has the ability to launch their own clothing label. The contestants will each be paired with an expert.

"Runway," which recently wrapped its fifth season on Bravo, is the subject of a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed in April by network parent NBC Universal after producer the Weinstein Co. said it was moving the series to Lifetime.

Meanwhile, Bravo also has four other new arts- and culture-themed projects in development, including "Fashionality" (working title), which features four "eclectic New York tastemakers" who explore topics related to pop culture and fashion via field pieces, round-table debates and interviews; "Double Exposure," a docu-series revolving around art and fashion photographer Markus Klinko and his partner and former girlfriend Indrani; and "Polo," a docu-series about polo players and their significant others.

Bravo also confirmed "The Dubai Project," a docu-series following a group of American and Brits living in the United Arab Emirates city.

And, as usual, Kevan Hall set the standard that all other designers showing this week will be hard-pressed to match.

"I was a little nervous about this show," Hall revealed after receiving a standing ovation from his diverse fans, including actresses Dana Delany, Rachel Griffiths, Tia Mowry, Gina Torres, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, stylist George Blodwell, Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and Hall's brother, actor-director Vondie Curtis-Hall.
